Water resilience

Acea’s strategy and research focus on wastewater reuse and network digitalization to address these issues. A resilient water management system is essential to drive economic development, protect public health, and enhance community safety.

Wastewater Reuse

Reusing treated wastewater is a key solution to tackle growing water scarcity and achieve net zero water, so that the same liter of water is reused multiple times. Wastewater reuse reduces environmental pressure, especially in agriculture, improves the sustainability of industries, and supports circular resource use.
