Climate change is disrupting the water cycle, significantly impacting water availability and distribution. To address these challenges, Acea and Intesa Sanpaolo have joined forces to promote a new cultural approach to sustainable water resource use.

The first publication from the Observatory focuses on wastewater reuse, a crucial strategy for the country’s future. By recovering valuable resources, wastewater treatment plants can become the core of a circular water model, improving water efficiency and fostering reuse.

The second publication focuses on the challenge of water in agriculture in the 3rd millennium, on the impact of climate change on its availability, and on resilience strategies for the sector, with the aim of implementing sustainable practices and ensuring a fairer, more efficient, and responsible management of water resources.
