Acea and its companies participate in the 42nd Anci Annual Assembly

The National Association of Italian Municipalities is a non-profit association that has been meeting since 1901.
Over 7,000 Italian municipalities take part in the initiative. This year’s edition, titled “Insieme per il bene comune" ("Together for the common good"), will gather mayors, local administrators, institutional representatives, and companies, with the aim of highlighting the strategic role played by Italian municipalities in the development of a country focused on its citizens.
From 12 to 14 November, Acea participates in the ANCI Annual Assembly with a dedicated exhibition area in Pavilion No.15 of the BolognaFiere exhibition complex. The Group, in support of its sustainable development goals, addresses topics related to innovation, infrastructure, and projects connected to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The Acea stand hosts thematic corners dedicated to the business areas, which present projects, expertise, and know-how through dedicated exhibition spaces and video content dedicated to the Peschiera Aqueduct and artistic lighting.
Technology, innovation, and sustainability
Acea Ambiente showcases the new technologies adopted to improve operational efficiency, personnel safety, and environmental sustainability, which leverage AI, predictive maintenance models, and drones for aerial monitoring
With the Acea Virtual Tour digital platform, visitors can discover Acea’s world and virtually explore the waste management plants, thanks to 3D interactive experiences accessible via dedicated headsets
At the Acea stand, it is also possible to meet Albert, the humanoid robotic assistant featuring artificial intelligence, movement capabilities, and advanced sensors, developed to support the operators who maintain and manage the Group’s infrastructure
