The innovative ecosystem of Acea is growing

Two key milestones consolidate Acea’s pioneering role in technological innovation: the creation of the Robotic Joint Lab with the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia and the event “I AM – Tu all’ennesima potenza”, organised with leading companies in artificial intelligence. These initiatives were carried out with the support of a.Quantum, a Group company dedicated to developing innovative solutions for the non-regulated market.

Robotic Joint Lab: innovation made in Italy

The agreement signed by a.Quantum and the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia established the creation of Italy’s first joint lab dedicated to developing advanced robotic solutions for the management and maintenance of industrial infrastructure in the water, energy, and environmental sectors.

“I AM”: the future of artificial intelligence

A two-day event with leading national and international technology players to explore the most innovative AI applications in the water, energy, and environmental sectors.

LIA: the laboratory that drives change

LIA, the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, is a concrete example of this commitment: 250 people from across Acea, representing various Group companies, voluntarily came forward to work on predictive and classification models, text generation to optimise business processes, comprehension and evaluation through generative AI, and conversational systems to improve customer experience. A community that turns artificial intelligence into tangible progress for the company, the services offered, and the citizens.
