Gianluca Zinzi

Since October 2025, Gianluca Zinzi has served as Head of Business & Process Transformation at Acea.


From 2016 to 2025, he held various managerial positions at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, contributing to the definition of the Group’s strategies in governance, processes, and organisational development. During this period, he led corporate digitalisation and transformation projects through the introduction and adoption of paper-free management models and solutions based on automation and artificial intelligence, alongside workforce planning systems designed to enhance efficiency and technological evolution. He also oversaw compensation and welfare policies at both company and group level, while driving the digital evolution of HR and organisational processes.


From 2010 to 2016, he worked at UniCredit Group Holding, where he progressively assumed key roles within the organisational and ICT functions. As Head of Group ICT Demand Management, he contributed to defining and managing the Group’s ICT investment budget, supporting top management in strategic allocation and monitoring processes. Previously, he led the Group Organisation Projects and Initiatives team, coordinating major reorganisation and operational model optimisation projects.


Between 2008 and 2010, he was responsible for the transformation plan of a hotel chain operating in Italy and the United States. In this role, he implemented a three-year financial turnaround plan focused on debt restructuring and efficiency improvement, developing management control systems and incentive schemes for executives, as well as integrated organisational processes and unified management platforms.


From 2005 to 2008, he worked at Value Partners Management Consulting as a consultant on international projects for large corporations, including Cell-C (South Africa), Elica and Telecom Italia, with a focus on process optimisation, supply chain management, and industrial strategies.


He began his career in 2004 at Consorzio Elis, participating in consultancy projects for leading national operators in the telecommunications, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome.
