Teresa Antonella Mistretta
Since February 2025, Teresa Antonella Mistretta has been appointed as Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality at Acea.
She has spent most of her career at the Enel Group, where she was involved in both nuclear construction engineering and health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) across national and international contexts. From 2023 to 2025, she was Head of HSEQ & Security at 3SUN, a high-tech photovoltaic company within the Enel Group, and from 2021 to 2023 she held the same position in the Infrastructure and Networks division in Brazil. Prior to that, she held various roles at Enel’s holding company, including Head of Safety and Head of Quality. Between 2016 and 2018, she was Head of Integration, Planning and Reporting for the Global Thermal Generation business line, supporting the development and management of integrated processes at international level.
Between 2009 and 2016, she gained solid experience in the nuclear sector, working on major projects in Slovakia and France. She held roles as Design Changes Manager and Project Engineer at the Mochovce 3&4 VVER nuclear power plant, and from 2009 to 2012 contributed to the Flamanville 3 EPR project in France as a Chemical Process Engineer. She was also a member of WANO Paris, the World Association of Nuclear Operators, an international organisation that promotes excellence and safety in the nuclear industry through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing.
She began her career in 2007 at Fiat Group Automobiles, working for two years at the Termini Imerese plant as Professional Maintenance Manager and World Class Manufacturing Representative.
She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Palermo.
