Race for the Cure

Race for the Cure is the largest event in Italy and worldwide against breast cancer, organized by Komen Italia since 2000. This year, it celebrates its 26^th edition at the Circus Maximus in Rome with the Health Village, where free services and consultations will be offered thanks to the support of seven Mobile Units from the "Prevention Caravan".

This year, Acea is sponsoring the Race for the Cure event, which promotes prevention and support for women affected by the disease, represented by the Women in Pink, a symbol of strength and hope. We will be at the event with a double stand in the partner area, ready to share our commitment to sustainability and community health.

Through ongoing analysis and stringent checks, Acea guarantees that the distributed water meets the highest quality standards. This is a commitment that goes beyond mere service: it represents a promise of trust to the communities.

In line with its values, the Group has been carrying forward the internal campaign "Prevent with Acea" for years, offering free screenings for breast cancer and other diseases to its employees, in collaboration with Komen Italia. This initiative includes days dedicated to prevention, during which over 500 breast, dermatological, and endocrine examinations have been conducted. Komen Italia has emphasized that its collaboration with the Acea Group has had a positive impact on people's lives.
