The Race for the Cure is the largest Italian and worldwide event against breast cancer, organized by Komen Italia since 2000. This year, it celebrates 26 years at the Circus Maximus in Rome with the Health Village, where free services and consultations will be offered thanks to the help of 7 Mobile Units of the "Prevention Caravan".

This year, Acea sponsors the Race for the Cure event, which supports prevention and support for women affected by the disease, represented by the Women in Pink, a symbol of strength and hope. During the event, we will have a double stand in the partner area, ready to share our commitment to sustainability and community health.

Health is a precious asset; Acea promotes the culture of prevention through rigorous control of water quality. The Group commits daily to ensuring that our water is pure, safe, and controlled. Through constant analysis and stringent checks, Acea ensures the distributed water meets the highest quality standards. A commitment that goes beyond simple service, but represents a promise of trust towards communities.

The Group has been carrying forward the internal campaign "Prevent with Acea" for years, offering free screenings for breast cancer prevention and other pathologies to its employees, in collaboration with Komen Italia. This initiative includes days dedicated to prevention, during which over 500 breast, dermatological, and endocrine examinations have been performed. Komen Italia has emphasized how collaboration with the Acea Group has positively impacted people's lives.
